Every so often, I work out a little phrase or thought. Often it seems
like I've heard it before, but I'll admit I don't read libraries of
literature and I'm not well versed in the world's quotes. In any case,
here's one from the other day:
"When a man feels lonely, he wants the physical presence of a woman.
When a woman feels lonely, she wants the emotional presence of a man."
As always, thoughts or feedback are appreciated.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
ReplyDeleteOnly made harder by the fact that most women have girlfriends they can call late into the night to download on, while you men don't have that option (or even really that need to release the day by talking it over at great length) . . .
ReplyDeleteNot completely true, actually. I won't speak for the men, but sometimes I get lonely for someone (specifically a guy someone) to reach out to in a touchy-feely sense also.
ReplyDeleteDeep down, I think physical and emotional presence are the same thing.
